Pilots of important spaceships,
A fair few CCP devs are attending the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco and we'd love to use the chance to meet our players in the area for drinks and banter at the (long limbed) Roe.
The party starts are 8pm and we'll head out for unknown adventures at 10pm. Entry is free of course, and CCP is buying the drinks. The age limit is 21.
The venue has a capacity of 100 people so please show up early to make sure to get in. We'd also like to ask you to sign up on our Eventbrite site.
Devs in attendance include:
CCP Unifex - Executive producer for EVE Online
CCP Seagull - Senior Producer for EVE Online
CCP Soundwave - Lead Game Designer for EVE Online
CCP Guard - EVE Community Developer

Just to make sure there's no misunderstanding, the event is on Tuesday the 26th. The 22nd was set as the cut-off date for ticket grabs for some reason but I've changed that even if it's "sold out" so there's no future confusion about this.
Glad to see so many excited about this :). We'll go on a roam after the event finishes so any big bars nearby are likely to have to deal with incursions of drunken capsuleers!
For those who can't make it for one reason or another, we'll be doing another west coast event around E3...to be advertised later.

The door will operate on a first come first serve basis. The tickets are free and we won't be able to hold a spot for you if someone else gets there first. I know it's not the biggest venue but we only have it for two hours and then we'll swarm the bars in the neighbourhood :). Look forward to seeing you there!

Just a last reminder that this is a first come first serve event. The tickets were free so we won't be putting people out to reserve space for someone who may or may not show up. We will all end up in some drunken parade at some point so just show up if you want to, ticket or no ticket.

We went over to the 21st Amendment I believe it's called. This was a fantastic event and I want to thank the bay area pilots (and those who travelled from other states) for a great turnout and a great time! A lot of people I talked to were doing their first ever meet with other EVE players and I personally witnessed a couple of very likely recruitments to corps which is always good!
Now for two flights back home to Iceland. Thanks for the quality chats and a really good evening! Love SF by the way.
